Rivera Heightens Awareness for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy

PA state Representative Nikki Rivera joined advocates for a press conference outside the state Capital to raise awareness and call out the need for greater funding surrounding disease research, specifically Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a rare genetic disease. DMD prevents the body from making dystrophin, which is needed to heal and reproduce muscles in our body.
