Today marks World Duchenne Awareness Day—a global moment to unite in awareness, action, and determination to end Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. This is not about waiting or wishing—it’s about moving fast and making measurable impact.

At Decker’s Blueprint, we’re laser-focused on accelerating research, cutting red tape, and fueling breakthroughs like tRNA and exon-skipping therapies that can change lives. Every step forward brings us closer to ending Duchenne—not someday, but as soon as possible.

What's Under Construction at Decker's Blueprint

🗣️ Raise Awareness

• Founder, Dan Murphy, met with several representatives including Congressman Lloyd Smucker to advocate for our Duchenne community and we shared flex poses with President Bush, Brandan Graham from the Eagles, and Ron Jaworski to name a few

💰 Fundraise

• Our inaugural March 2025 Gala- Watch the Highlight Reel- was a success! We raised over $400,000 once all donations were processed from the event, and our collective efforts are opening doors to better research funding and support

💪 Fuel Resolve

• Dan and Lauren Murphy attended Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy's Annual Conference in Las Vegas and connected with leading researchers Drs. John Lueck and Samuel Mackenzie from University of Rochester

🏗️ Build a Future

• Decker participated in an imaging study at the University of Florida for future clinical trials and had the opportunity to visit Dr. Flanigan's lab at Children's Nationwide Hospital and view his own muscle biopsy under a microscope!
